The role involves collaboration with servers, hosts, supervisors, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth and efficient operations throughout the day and night shifts. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down private dining areas, ensuring tables meet venue standards, restocking and cleaning stations, and maintaining beverage and buffet areas free from debris. Attention to detail and adherence to Department of Health standards are critical, particularly in sanitation practices such as changing silverware soak water every three hours. Job Duties

  • Responsible for set-up and break down of private dining areas
  • Ensure each table is ready for guest arrival in accordance with venue standards
  • Restock and clean assigned station at the end of shift to have ready for start of next shift in accordance with Department of Health standards
  • Attendance at pre-shift meetings
  • Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record
  • Participate as a team member with all servers, hosts, supervisors and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation
  • Keep dining area clear of debris and food regularly throughout the day
  • Keep floors around buffet and in dining area clear of trash and debris
  • Restock dishes and utensils needed for service areas throughout the buffet
  • Maintain beverage stations with supplies and free from debris and trash
  • Ensure that sanitation buckets and silverware soak water is changed every three hours in accordance with Department of Health standards
  • Assist co-workers in stations as needed per business needs
  • Assist in any duties deemed necessary from supervisors
