Job Requirements
- 5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in tech or SaaS industry
- proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience managing full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal teams
- familiarity with CRM and event marketing software
- must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- self-motivated with a results-driven attitude
Job Qualifications
- 5-10 years in full sales cycle closing experience in quota carrying capacity
- proven ability to exceed targets and articulate how you have ensured success
- understanding of how events drive pipeline and brand engagement
- ability to connect sponsorship value to measurable outcomes
- proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and partner teams
- highly effective communication skills
- ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and present confidently
- familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Hubspot and event marketing technology
Job Duties
- develop, package, and sell sponsorship opportunities from technology and channel partners across VerkadaOne and field marketing programs
- build tailored sponsorship packages that align with partner goals while enhancing attendee experience
- manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing
- partner with marketing event teams to ensure sponsor activations complement the overall event strategy, branding, and attendee journey
- advise sponsors on effective activation strategies including speaking opportunities, branding, hands-on experiences, and digital campaigns
- track sponsorship ROI alongside event performance metrics such as pipeline influenced, cost per lead, and attendee engagement
- cultivate strong, long-term relationships with technology partners, resellers, and sponsors
- serve as main sponsor liaison before, during, and after events ensuring deliverables are met
- collect feedback post-event and continuously evolve sponsorship offerings
- collaborate with product marketing, partnerships, and sales to align sponsorship strategies with broader go-to-market priorities
- work with finance and legal to finalize contracts and manage sponsorship payments
- contribute to post-event reporting and debriefs highlighting sponsorship impact on pipeline and brand objectives
