Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Food Handler’s and OLCC (18 and older only) card mandatory
- Prior experience in a similar environment preferred
- Strong understanding of the menu
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships
- Ability to fulfill physical job requirements including lifting over 20 lbs
- Availability to work part-time on-site at the club in Portland, OR
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Food Handler’s and OLCC (18 and older only) card mandatory
- Prior experience in a similar environment (coffee shop, sandwich shop) preferred
- Strong understanding of the menu to answer questions from members or guests
- Excellent customer service and decision-making skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, members, and employees
- Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the job including lifting over 20 lbs, being able to remain in a stationary position 50%-100% of the shift, and move about the area 50%-100% of the shift
Job Duties
- Deliver enthusiastic, prompt, and positive service to all members, guests, and employees
- Regularly replenish stock items as needed
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks as directed by your team lead, supervisor, or manager
- Prepare espresso drinks, smoothies, sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, etc. to our high standards
- Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions efficiently
- Practice proper sanitation and food handling procedures at all times
- Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
- Follow all club safety policies and procedures, demonstrating safe work practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
