The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position at Aegis Therapies is a full-time role with a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, located at the Rosewood Heights and Rose Villas facilities in Killeen, Texas. This role involves providing exceptional rehabilitative care in nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities, focusing primarily on geriatric patients. The SLP will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing their specialized speech and language expertise to improve patient outcomes. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders or related field
- Master’s degree in speech language pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in nursing home or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Strong assessment and therapeutic skills
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Current license as a speech language pathologist or ability to obtain in the state of practice
- Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
- Strong clinical skills in evaluation and treatment of speech and swallowing disorders
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Evaluate and assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
- Provide therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing functions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and progress reports
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and progress
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
