Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders or related field
  • Master’s degree in speech language pathology
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience in nursing home or rehabilitation settings preferred
  • Strong assessment and therapeutic skills
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Current license as a speech language pathologist or ability to obtain in the state of practice
  • Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in evaluation and treatment of speech and swallowing disorders
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Job Duties

  • Evaluate and assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing functions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records and progress reports
  • Educate patients and families on therapy goals and progress
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
