Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely including lifting up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Capable of working in varying temperatures and humidity
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of shifts
- Willingness to follow safety policies and ethical conduct
- Must be able to engage positively with guests
Job Qualifications
- Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Basic guest service skills
- Retail and merchandising knowledge is a plus
Job Duties
- Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floorpad by executing visual standards
- Leverage store tools to understand sales and inventory and support guest needs
- Sort truck freight and push freight to the salesfloor
- Set visual presentations and visual merchandising guides
- Maintain product availability and a full floorpad by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity
- Execute and maintain backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests
- Remerchandise presentations using best practices to deliver an inspiring shopping experience
- Support price change processes and clearance merchandising including signing execution
- Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and help guests
- Support fulfillment and return merchandise from fitting rooms to salesfloor
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely and comply with all safety policies and training
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up with compliance
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests
- Engage with guests to help solve their needs
- Thank guests for shopping at Target
- Perform other duties based on business needs
