Job Duties

  • Adhere to Board of Health and ServSafe regulations
  • Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
  • Stretch, shape, and build pizzas with accuracy, consistency, and attention to presentation
  • Operate and monitor pizza ovens, ensuring proper cook times, temperatures, and product quality
  • Maintain quality control by checking appearance, texture, and doneness of all pizzas before service
  • Execute specialty and custom pizza orders efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Ensure proper portioning and topping distribution to maintain cost control and product consistency
  • Complete all assigned production priorities daily
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area including pizza stations, ovens, prep surfaces, refrigerators, counters, tables, and storage areas
  • Inform supervisor of any shortages, ingredient needs, or equipment malfunctions
  • Maintain proper food storage, rotation (FIFO), and ingredient freshness specific to pizza station items
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order execution
  • Demonstrate practical understanding of kitchen sanitation
  • Create and support a team environment
