Takeda operates with a patient-first mindset, ensuring that every action taken aligns with their commitment to healthcare excellence and ethical business practices. The company's diverse and inclusive workforce thrives on creativity and scientific expertise, enabling Takeda to make a meaningful impact on global health challenges.
The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) role at Takeda plays a pivotal role in advancing patient care through education and sales efforts within the dermatology therapeutic area. This position is responsible for driving demand for the product post-regulatory approval by effectively educating healthcare providers including dermatologists, clinics, hospitals, and independent physician offices. The SBM is tasked with identifying and optimizing business opportunities within a specified territory while exemplifying high professional standards and adherence to Takeda’s compliance guidelines. This full-time, non-exempt employee position offers an hourly wage range from $63.51 to $87.31, reflecting experience and qualifications, and is based in California with a virtual work setting.
As a Dermatology SBM, you will engage in clinical selling activities where your ability to communicate the clinical value proposition is essential. Your role will involve facilitating account onboarding, delivering targeted sales messages, managing account relationships, and coordinating clinical education programs such as peer-to-peer sessions which enhance the knowledge of healthcare providers. You will work closely with various stakeholders including physicians, medical staff, pharmacists, and other decision-makers to ensure the safe and effective use of Takeda’s products. In this capacity, you will also strategically manage resources and collaborate with team members and counterparts to execute marketing strategies aligned with Takeda’s brand objectives. Your efforts directly contribute to achieving sales goals and improving patient outcomes within the dermatology segment.
The position requires ongoing professional development and knowledge enhancement about disease states, treatment modalities, and healthcare market dynamics. As part of this role, you will demonstrate leadership, integrity, and compliance with Takeda’s policies, ensuring that patient-first values are reflected in all activities. The position involves occasional travel, sometimes overnight up to 50%, to meet with accounts and attend business related meetings. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reside within or near the assigned geography to facilitate effective territory coverage.
Takeda offers comprehensive compensation and benefits packages to support employee well-being and professional growth. Eligible employees may benefit from medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement programs, paid time off including sick leave and holidays, paid volunteer time off, and wellness initiatives. Takeda is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected characteristics. This Dermatology Specialty Business Manager role provides a compelling opportunity for driven professionals to contribute meaningfully to the healthcare industry while advancing their careers with a respected global leader.
