Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum three years experience in event management or related field
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Able to safely operate utility vehicles such as golf carts utility carts and shuttle carts
- Willingness to work long hours when required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Marketing Management Hospitality or related field
- Minimum three years experience in event management or related field
- Proficient writing and public speaking presentation abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of business acumen and financial accountability including budgeting cost allocations and project cost estimating
- Ability to work independently self-directed and problem-solve
- Highly organized with ability to manage conflicting workload demands in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage projects with attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship building skills focused on client satisfaction
- Negotiation skills
- Familiarity with TOUR business and core business of golf
Job Duties
- Assist in the planning of meetings and events including annual in-person or virtual business sessions for various departments
- Advise client of meeting logistics and ancillary services ensuring successful outcomes including audiovisual management catering support material attendance management cost and budget reconciliations timelines program evaluations and follow-up
- Manage details of accommodations transportation and confirmation of guest participation in advance of each event including commercial and private aviation
- Manage invitation lists and create invitation collateral based on targeted constituent audience for event
- Assume lead for the annual Holiday Sale including managing inventory and volunteers
- Assume lead for YOU Meetings and other smaller meetings or events in Global Home
- Implement new inventory system and keep updated in real-time
- Work with team to identify event venues business and social programming entertainment golf arrangements player participation for each event
- Update detailed schedules and financial reports analysis
- Support special projects to reinforce overall corporate strategy
- Assist with management of vendors and temporary staff to complete tasks related to project
- Effectively communicate project timelines and employee notifications professionally and effectively managing multiple projects while adhering to strict timelines
- Special projects or other duties as assigned
