The Event Set-Up Specialist is a vital member of this dynamic institution, responsible for delivering exceptional support during campus events across all three campuses. This role focuses on ensuring that event spaces are accurately and safely prepared for a broad spectrum of occasions, enhancing the overall event experience. As an on-site liaison, the specialist is entrusted with interpreting event setup diagrams, organizing furnishings, operating basic audiovisual equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and accessibility of indoor and outdoor venues. This hands-on position demands adaptability, clear communication, and a high level of professionalism, as the specialist collaborates closely with institutional events staff, student life representatives, facilities management, IT support, and student workers. With the need for a strong physical presence on campus and occasional travel between campuses and offsite locations, the Event Set-Up Specialist is a dependable and visible figure during event execution. The position requires availability outside traditional office hours, including evenings and weekends as needed, to support a diverse schedule of campus activities. Reporting to the Director of Institutional Events, this role offers an impactful opportunity to play a key role in shaping memorable and smoothly functioning events that reflect FRCC’s values of inclusion, respect, and excellence. The salary range for this full-time position is $49,866 to $52,485 annually, reflecting considerations of education, experience, and market competitiveness.
