Job Description

The organization is a dedicated public health institution focused on maintaining and enhancing the quality of healthcare services through rigorous quality management and compliance programs. Committed to fostering continuous quality improvement and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, the organization plays a critical role in overseeing the quality of healthcare delivery systems and subcontracting service providers within its network. The institution emphasizes structured, system-wide approaches to quality assurance (QA) and quality management (QM) frameworks, organizing efforts to plan, implement, and evaluate ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

The role of Quality and Regulations Coordinator is a pivotal position within this framework. Under the direction of the Director of Quality & Regulations and the Assistant Director of Quality & Regulations, this position entails the coordination and oversight of quality processes that support the organization’s quality management and compliance objectives. The Coordinator is instrumental in assisting with the development and implementation of quality management and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. This involves performing complex analyses of chart review data, compiling detailed and service-specific chart review reports, and leading the annual review process of subrecipient organizations to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.

In this role, the Coordinator assists with the development, implementation, monitoring, and updating of the Quality Management Performance Work Plan, which provides a roadmap for quality initiatives and compliance strategies. Providing technical assistance and guidance to subrecipients is also a key responsibility, helping align their operations with applicable federal, state, and local regulations to meet program requirements consistently. The Coordinator plays an essential part in monitoring subcontracting service providers to ensure they comply with minimum program standards based on current regulatory specifications.

This position demands a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in disciplines such as public health, nursing, social work, healthcare administration, or related fields. Academic focus on health services analysis and quality management is highly encouraged to equip the candidate with necessary expertise for this specialized role. The Quality and Regulations Coordinator is expected to bring strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and collaborative abilities to successfully manage quality assurance programs and foster ongoing improvements in healthcare service delivery within the organization’s scope. This role is essential for ensuring quality, compliance, and improvements that ultimately enhance patient outcomes and support the mission of the health institution.
