Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
- Valid Class C/Standard Operator Driver License
- Ability to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
- Possession of a valid Class C/Standard Operator Driver License
- Prior experience in truck driving or related delivery roles is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and moving freight weighing between 40-60 pounds, with occasional loads up to 100 pounds
Job Duties
- Safely operate a Class C delivery truck according to assigned routes
- Manually unload and deliver various products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by identifying their needs and providing excellent service
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery schedules to meet customer expectations
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies during transit and delivery
- Occasionally operate tractor-trailers if holding a Class A or B license and meeting DOT requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery and operational records
