Job Description
Sysco is a leading global foodservice distribution company committed to delivering quality products and exceptional service to its customers. With a rich history and a strong reputation in the industry, Sysco supplies a wide range of products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, and other foodservice establishments. The company is recognized for its dedication to innovation, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in every aspect of its operations. Sysco's expansive network and logistics expertise enable it to maintain high standards in product delivery, ensuring freshness, timely distribution, and reliable service across its routes.\n\nThe role of Class C Special Delivery Truck Driver at Sysco is both dynamic and essential, involving the safe and efficient operation of delivery trucks to transport various food and supply products to assigned customer locations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining strong customer relationships by understanding their specific needs and ensuring that deliveries meet and exceed expectations. Drivers are required to manually unload and deliver products while demonstrating a positive and friendly attitude that fosters trust and satisfaction among customers. Unlike positions that require Class A or B commercial driver licenses, this role mandates a Class C or Standard Operator Driver License; however, individuals holding higher class licenses may occasionally be called upon to operate larger tractor-trailers, provided they meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) qualifications.\n\nSysco is proud to offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to its drivers, which include paid vacation, holidays, healthcare coverage, retirement plans, employee discounts, and opportunities for career advancement through ongoing training. The company values its employees and supports their growth in a welcoming and professional environment. Daily routes provide the convenience of consistent schedules, enhancing work-life balance for drivers. If you are dependable, safety-conscious, and dedicated to quality service, this role at Sysco offers a rewarding career path in the foodservice distribution industry. Join Sysco today and be part of a team that drives success with passion and commitment.
