The company has expanded significantly through the development of new resorts, acquisitions, and strategic growth. Caesars Entertainment operates prominent resorts primarily under its flagship brands including Caesars®, Harrah's®, Horseshoe®, and Eldorado®. With a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences, Caesars blends impeccable service, operational excellence, and cutting-edge technology to cultivate loyalty and generate value for its patrons. Known for its vibrant entertainment offerings and luxury accommodations, Caesars Entertainment is also dedicated to social responsibility through its PEOPLE PLANET PLAY framework, fostering economic development, supporting its team members and their families, and positively impacting the communities in which it operates.
As a Special Events Senior Specialist at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, you will play a critical role in assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of special events and promotions across all Caesars Las Vegas properties. This full-time, on-site position is vital for delivering extraordinary experiences that drive customer engagement and patronage. Reporting to the Regional Special Events Manager, the role involves managing day-to-day operations of the Citywide Special Events Department, overseeing the work of Regional Special Events Specialists, and ensuring seamless execution of event projects. This dynamic position requires collaboration with multiple departments including Casino Marketing, Caesars Rewards, Entertainment, Hotel, Banquets, Security, Facilities, and Operations to oversee resources and logistics required for successful events.
The role demands expertise in event budgeting, including managing proformas, cost projections, and expense tracking, along with approving purchase requisitions and invoice payments while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements like 1099 tax forms. A critical aspect of the position includes creating production meeting materials, maintaining detailed records and event schedules, and adhering to strict timelines and operational protocols. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving and capable of proactively addressing guest, client, and operational challenges to guarantee flawless event outcomes. Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive company information, staying updated with industry trends, and complying with all company policies, including responsible gaming guidelines, are integral to this role.
Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business, or possessing equivalent experience. Prior experience in Special Events or Casino Marketing is highly desired. The ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, coupled with excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, is necessary. Proficiency in IBM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and PKMS is also required. Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends, along with a minimum age of 21 and the capability to obtain a Gaming Sheriff’s card, is mandatory.
This position also requires physical ability to move throughout casino and hotel areas, withstand indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, and perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and manual equipment operation. Caesars Entertainment emphasizes a culture of togetherness under the guiding principles of Blaze the Trail, Together We Win, and All-In on Service, ensuring a family-style service approach that fosters warmth, teamwork, and exceptional guest care. Joining Caesars as a Special Events Senior Specialist offers an opportunity to contribute to extraordinary events that elevate the guest experience and create memorable moments, making a tangible impact on one of the world’s leading entertainment companies.
