The Special Events Manager role at Fox Restaurant Concepts is a pivotal position within their Salt Lake City, Utah team. Opening in the summer, this position involves managing and orchestrating memorable private events, ranging from intimate gatherings and corporate functions to full venue buyouts. The Special Events Manager will handle all aspects of the event lifecycle from lead management and client communication to execution and post-event follow-up. Working with a dedicated service team, general managers, and executive chefs, this role ensures that every detail aligns perfectly with guest expectations and company standards.

Job Requirements

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience with event booking and sales
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency with event management software

Job Qualifications

  • Have 3+ years of experience in a high volume events environment
  • restaurant or similar experience preferred
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • catering and event software experience
  • able to work flexible, sometimes long hours
  • excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Manage all incoming leads via Open Table, telephone, email and other channels
  • assist with managing event software
  • close deals and assist guests from start to finish with all event planning needs
  • manage annual sales goals for selected restaurants by booking group events
  • seek out new sales opportunities and partnerships, initiating action plans and attending networking events to procure new business
  • build guest loyalty and book repeat business
  • communicate with the service team all event details
  • partner with General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure flawless execution of each event
  • book small to large events and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • work on-site to build a solid team atmosphere
