Job Description

SP+, a Metropolis company, stands at the forefront of artificial intelligence innovation by revolutionizing parking experiences through advanced computer vision technology. As the largest parking network in America, SP+ operates across over 4,000 locations in North America and Europe, with a dedicated workforce exceeding 23,000 employees. This extensive network and workforce power mobility solutions that eliminate traditional parking hassles such as tickets, machines, apps, and credit cards, enabling customers to simply "drive in and drive out" seamlessly. SP+ is committed to transforming parking because it is a ubiquitous challenge that affects everyday life, impacting millions of people wherever they live, work, and play.

The company is now offering an exciting opportunity in the dynamic environment of sports and entertainment events for individuals seeking flexible work schedules and a chance to grow their careers alongside knowledgeable and supportive team members. The role of Special Events Flagger is vital in ensuring smooth, efficient parking operations during major events. As a Special Events Flagger at SP+, you will directly interact with customers, guiding vehicles to available parking spaces, managing traffic flow, and providing courteous assistance and information about parking rates and local directions. This role is ideal for those who enjoy engaging with people and want to be part of an innovative company that values diversity and inclusion.

This position serves as a potential entry point into a rewarding career with SP+, where numerous current employees began their journeys in the events venue sector. The company fosters an inclusive work culture, openly recruiting individuals without regard to race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, or other protected categories. SP+ also complies with the use of an Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT), which helps assess candidates based on their qualifications and the responsibilities required for the job. This data-driven approach ensures fairness while maintaining high standards for the workforce.

Compensation for the Special Events Flagger role starts at $17.50 per hour. Eligible employees can benefit from a comprehensive range of benefits plans including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, life and accident insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, 401k retirement plan, and paid time off. Physically, the job requires standing, walking, handling cash and equipment, occasionally sitting, climbing, or balancing, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. The work setting includes outdoor conditions which may vary from cold and snowy to hot and humid environments.

Joining SP+ means becoming part of a forward-thinking company that is not just simplifying parking but also elevating daily convenience in numerous locations across two continents. This role is more than a job—it is a meaningful step toward a future career with a leading AI-powered parking solutions company dedicated to providing remarkable everyday experiences to its customers.
