Special Events Designer

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting and designing unique event décor, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless installation and execution of events. Responsibilities involve interfacing with clients to understand their vision, writing proposals, and leading installations to guarantee that all elements of the event meet exacting standards. This position requires strong creativity paired with excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate between internal production teams and external vendors.

The candidate will also handle activities and tours coordination, serving as a key liaison to ensure clients fully benefit from the resort's offerings. This includes booking entertainment, participating in site visits, and maintaining timely responses to client inquiries. The position demands a team-player attitude contributing to a culture of excellence anchored in PRIDE/CARE service standards, a hallmark of Boca By Design's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.

The role reports directly to the Director of Sales and Operations and requires collaboration with production installation crews, floral designers, social coordinators, and other department managers. A thorough understanding of event styling, cost estimation, proposal writing, and client relationship management is essential to succeed in this fast-paced and highly creative environment. The ability to forecast and secure future business opportunities while fostering new client leads is also a critical aspect of the role.

With a focus on fostering creativity and upholding safe work standards, this position offers a comprehensive experience in the event décor industry within a well-established luxury resort setting. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and sustaining active physical involvement during event setups.
