The Special Events Coordinator - On Call position at Caesars Palace Las Vegas plays a pivotal role in supporting the successful execution of various invitational events and marketing functions throughout the Las Vegas region. This on-call role involves assisting with guest services, promoting positive guest experiences, and performing general office and event-related duties as required. The coordinator acts as a key customer service representative, creating an atmosphere of excitement while ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and engaging event. This includes supporting team efforts in organizing and executing promotions, responding proactively to guest needs with a professional demeanor, and maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling guest data. The role demands adaptability, multi-tasking capabilities, and a capacity to manage a fast-paced environment while upholding Caesars' high standards for guest service.

In addition, the Special Events Coordinator frequently interacts with guests and internal teams, requiring excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit to work effectively in various dynamic scenarios. Flexibility to work any day, any shift including holidays, and the ability to physically navigate casino, hotel, and event locations is essential. Technical proficiency with computer systems such as IBM, Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe software is also necessary to efficiently perform required tasks. Team members must be respectful of Caesars’ Responsible Gaming guidelines and ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations. The on-call nature of this position means coordinators must be ready to respond to varying event schedules and support the seamless delivery of promotional activities. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work any day of the week, on any shift including long hours and holidays
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • must be able to move around casino and event areas for the entire shift
  • manual dexterity to operate computer, telephone, photocopy machine, fax machine, ten key, printer, and gaming machines
  • ability to tolerate secondhand smoke
  • must be able to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a desk
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • respond to visual and aural cues
  • may work outdoors

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience with proven ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service
  • ability to organize and maintain multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • multitalented with strong multitasking abilities
  • effective communication skills in English
  • basic computer skills including IBM, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Adobe
  • eligible to obtain a Gaming Sheriff’s Card
  • compliant with company appearance standards
