The role is pivotal in producing an inviting and lively social experience for guests on the casino floor. The successful candidate will act as an emcee for casino and property-wide events, fostering guest engagement by encouraging participation in gaming-related drawings and promotions. Excellent guest service is expected, including answering inquiries, providing directions, supporting marketing campaigns, and soliciting sign-ups for various casino events. This job significantly contributes to the festive atmosphere by entertaining guests and promoting prolonged engagement in gaming activities. The position also requires vigilance in observing gaming activities and promptly relaying any security concerns to relevant personnel. Additionally, the individual will support operational areas such as the Box Office and VIP Lounge when called upon.

Event management responsibilities include organizing, recording tournament data, completing after-event reports, and assisting with the preparation and execution of casino events and promotions. The role involves creating promotional material and ensuring guests receive accurate information about the casino’s services, hours of operation, and local attractions. The candidate must be proactive, moving efficiently throughout the casino floor to meet guest needs and maintain an active presence. This multifaceted role is designed for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences and maintaining a professional yet entertaining demeanor. The job requires flexibility concerning working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in special events, casino events, or hospitality is preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness card

Job Duties

  • Create an inviting socialized experience for all guests in the area by encouraging the gaming public to participate in all casino related drawings and promotions
  • Emcee all casino or property wide events and promotions
  • Provide excellent guest service by answering questions, giving directions, supporting marketing initiatives and solicit interest and sign-ups for casino events
  • Entertain guests during their play by creating a festive and upbeat environment
  • To engage guests through appropriate interaction and nurture extended time in play
  • Observe gaming activity and relay security concerns to appropriate personnel
  • Provide support to the Box Office and VIP Lounge when requested
  • Perform event management, record tournament and event data, and complete and reconcile post event reports and audit packets
  • Help to prepare for, set-up and execute all casino events and promotions within the property
  • Create corresponding collateral for all casino events and promotions
  • Communicate accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, Hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc
  • Move throughout the casino floor at a speed sufficient to satisfy guest needs
  • Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
