  • Excellent design aesthetic for creating social media posts, web media, and student gallery work
  • Proficiency in multimedia content production including photography and video
  • Strong communication, organizational, and outreach skills
  • Experience with digital asset management systems
  • Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of design concepts and technical fluency in design software
  • Experience with administrative operations including risk management, travel, and graphic website design
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Preferred experience in academic, cultural, or design-focused environments
  • Preferred experience supervising student staff or creative teams
  • Preferred familiarity with architecture and design pedagogy

Job Duties

  • Plan, manage, and execute departmental events including lectures, exhibitions, final reviews, and symposia
  • Develop comprehensive event timelines, production schedules, and run-of-show documentation
  • Coordinate venues, audiovisual services, catering, travel, honoraria, contracts, and facilities logistics
  • Manage budgets, payment processes, and financial reporting related to events
  • Lead development and execution of digital media and content strategies including social media, web, email campaigns, digital signage, and print
  • Capture and coordinate photography and video documentation
  • Collaborate with faculty, students, and communications office to produce high-quality multimedia content
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries and oversee department's public-facing visual identity
  • Serve as primary point of contact for faculty, guest speakers, critics, and exhibitors
  • Coordinate communications and support for event participants
  • Interpret and apply university policies related to events, travel, and entertainment
  • Supervise student employees and coordinate creative teams
  • Develop and prepare budgets, reports, and vendor payments
  • Anticipate production challenges and develop contingency plans
  • Serve on departmental committees and provide analytical support
  • Ensure professional staging and alignment with departmental design standards
