Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in event management with a portfolio of successful large-scale events
- Proven budget and timeline management skills
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Strong volunteer management experience
- Experience in education or non-profit sectors is a plus
- Familiarity with event management software including Cvent, Eventbrite, Canva
- Knowledge or proficiency in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge software
- Experience with social media platforms like Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok
- Understanding of audiovisual needs for live events

Job Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with organizational goals and mission
- Manage volunteers
- Lead planning and implementation of special events including internal gatherings, fundraising, and community outreach
- Manage relationships with vendors, venues, and stakeholders including negotiating contracts and overseeing logistics
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and admissions teams to create cohesive event messaging, branding, and promotions
- Stay current with industry trends to enhance guest experience and event innovation
- Establish and maintain relationships with partners, sponsors, and vendors to maximize event impact
- Analyze event performance metrics and gather feedback for continuous improvement
