Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of commercial driving experience
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with endorsements or state-appropriate Class C, D, or E license
  • Ability to operate various service trucks safely
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Capability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to travel extensively, up to 50% of the time
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40lbs from waist to shoulders and 30lbs from floor to head
  • Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, squat, push and pull heavy loads as required
  • Commitment to following safety guidelines as per company and DOT regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of commercial driving experience
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class CDL A or B with endorsement or Class C, D, or E depending on state)
  • Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time and assist other branches or regions as needed

Job Duties

  • Conduct daily pre-shift vehicle inspection and report deficiencies to management immediately
  • Conduct daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition
  • Check loads to ensure that truck has all material units, fence panels, poles, etc., and tools needed to complete service tickets
  • Operate service trucks to and from pre-designated work sites based on assignment information
  • Maintain a clean and fully stocked truck
  • Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers, etc., at various work sites by following the companys servicing guidelines
  • Unload all fence materials and install fence panels with appropriate tools at the work site
  • Troubleshoot and address all basic repair and maintenance as needed on-site
  • Perform pick-up and delivery of units at customer locations in a timely manner
  • Work with dispatch to keep updated on service schedule changes throughout the day and adapt to changes as needed
  • Conduct all work duties in a safe manner according to USS and DOT safety standards
  • Interact professionally with customers on-site to ensure satisfaction with services delivered
  • Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive additional instructions and changes to work locations
  • Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
