Job Requirements

  • One year customer service or related experience or equivalency
  • Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform essential functions as outlined in the position description
  • Flexibility in schedule to work varying hours during special events
  • Physical ability to handle frequent standing, sitting, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds

  • One year customer service or related experience or equivalency
  • Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Collect parking fees from customers with accuracy and a smile
  • Prepare and complete accurate records and reports
  • Assist customers in a courteous manner and answer general questions with a positive attitude
  • Perform various traffic control responsibilities
  • Respond to citizen and guest questions, concerns and complaints in a timely, courteous and helpful manner
  • Monitor all radio traffic and communicate with appropriate coworkers and management when necessary
  • Audit cars in a parking lot and monitor parking facilities for space availability and safety concerns
  • Change signage at parking locations and communicate as needed
