The role of Event Coordinator / Event Designer is a full-time, in-office position based at their Gaithersburg, Maryland location. This exciting role is ideal for someone passionate about event planning and design, offering the unique opportunity to work closely with clients to create memorable events. The coordinator will be involved in all aspects of event planning, from guiding clients through the design and logistics of weddings, galas, and corporate events, to recommending tent sizes, layouts, and décor that perfectly align with each client’s vision. Utilizing specialized rental software, the event coordinator will draft proposals, contracts, and floorplans, ensuring all details are meticulously planned. The role also requires coordination with venues, vendors, and planners to guarantee smooth event execution.

Beyond office duties, the position includes site visits, assisting with permits, supporting on-site installations when necessary, and representing the company at industry and wedding expos. This dynamic role necessitates excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure, and strong negotiation skills to build lasting client relationships. The position offers a competitive salary range between $45,000 and $60,000 annually, complemented by an uncapped commission potential of $15,000 to $30,000+, offering total compensation between $60,000 and $90,000 or more.
