The Event Coordinator / Event Designer position is a full-time, in-office role based at our Gaithersburg, MD location. This opportunity places you at the heart of the action, collaborating closely with a dedicated team to design, plan, and coordinate some of the most exciting luxury weddings, corporate galas, political events, and other high-end special events in the region. Working Monday through Friday with extended hours during peak event seasons, you will be responsible for guiding clients through every phase of their event—from initial concept and design to final execution. Your expertise in recommending tent sizes, layouts, and décor will bring client visions to life, ensuring each event is tailored to exceed expectations. Additional responsibilities include creating detailed proposals, contracts, and floorplans through specialized rental software, handling client communications with professionalism, coordinating with venues and vendors, and participating in site visits and permit processes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about event planning and design, ready to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced industry.

Our compensation package includes a competitive base salary ranging from $45,000 to $60,000—negotiable based on your event and sales experience—with an uncapped commission structure poised to add $15,000 to $30,000 or more to your earnings. Total compensation potential ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 plus, making this a lucrative and rewarding career path. Job Requirements

  • Full-time, in-office position based in Gaithersburg, MD
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with extended hours during peak season
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous experience in events or sales preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with event planning software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Valid driver’s license for site visits

Job Duties
