Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Commercial vehicle driver must demonstrate ability to read and speak English
- Hold a Class C or standard operator driver license
- Physical ability to lift, push or move freight weighing 40 to 60 pounds and up to 100 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Class C operator driver license
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and understand highway traffic signs
- Ability to make entries on reports and records
- Experience in customer service is preferred
- Physical ability to lift and move products weighing up to 100 pounds
- Valid pre-employment drug screening clearance
Job Duties
- Operate assigned Class C truck safely and efficiently
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Follow assigned route schedule to ensure timely deliveries
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing excellent service
- Read and understand highway traffic signs and signals
- Complete all required documentation accurately
- Assist with operating tractor-trailers when required and qualified
