The role of Class C Special Delivery Truck Driver at Sysco Boston, LLC involves operating a delivery truck to safely and efficiently deliver products to customer locations following a set route schedule. This role is designed for dependable drivers who take pride in building strong relationships with customers by understanding their operational needs and maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor. Unlike other commercial driving roles, this position does not require a Class A or B commercial driver's license; however, employees who possess these licenses may occasionally be called upon to operate tractor-trailers, provided they meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) qualification standards.
Working as a Class C Special Delivery Truck Driver involves manual unloading and delivery of diverse product categories such as meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, and other supplies. Drivers play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by timely and courteous delivery service. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for work-related communication
- Possess a valid Class C or standard operator driver license
- Physical ability to lift and move freight weighing 40-60 pounds on average, occasionally up to 100 pounds

Job Duties
- Safely operate delivery truck along assigned route
