Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Minimum one year of experience providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in vital signs, weights, activities of daily living (ADLs), and independent ADLs
- Competence in CPR and First Aid
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach

Job Duties
- Provide assistance in the daily care of health-impaired older adults or individuals in our care with brain injuries, intellectual/developmental disabilities, emotional or behavioral disabilities, or mental health diagnoses
- Assist with the implementation of individual and group activity programs
- Be responsible for the care, safety, security, and social/recreational activities for the individuals receiving support
- Assist individuals with daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, bathroom assistance, grooming, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Provide guidance with social skills, advocacy, and self-esteem
- Teach strategies to live as independently as possible
