The Spanish Bilingual Customer Service Representative role at U-Haul is a vital position focused on delivering exceptional service to a diverse customer base. This entry-level position involves assisting customers both inside and outside the U-Haul retail centers, ensuring they receive comprehensive support for all U-Haul products and services. Representatives use advanced smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory efficiently, demonstrating proficiency in modern digital tools.

In this role, representatives will participate in the physical preparation and inspection of rental equipment, including moving and hooking up trucks and trailers, cleaning and checking fluid levels, and installing hitches and trailer wiring. The role requires a hands-on approach and provides on-the-job training and certifications, including propane filling and forklift operation. Safety and accuracy are essential, as representatives ensure that equipment meets quality standards and is ready for customer use.

The position includes direct customer interactions, answering inquiries, educating customers about products and services, preparing rental invoices, and processing equipment rentals and returns with professionalism and efficiency. Employees will engage continuously in educational programs through U-Haul University, promoting ongoing skill development and career growth.

This is an in-person role with a starting pay of $14.00 per hour. U-Haul offers a unique hiring process featuring paid hands-on working interviews and immediate start benefits, including a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of certification programs.
