Job Requirements

No formal education required
six months prior sales, guest relations, and/or spa experience desired
basic knowledge of spas, luxury hotel service standards, guest relations, and etiquette desired
First Aid and CPR certification desired
excellent customer service and communication skills
ability to perform basic math skills
attention to detail
ability to remain calm and alert in difficult or emergency situations
ability to use telephone and computer systems used at the hotel
good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
ability to explain spa and hotel amenities
ability to read and understand English
ability to work independently and within a team
flexibility to work on holidays, weekends, and varying shifts
clean appearance and professional demeanor
willingness to complete all required training
ability to wear non-slip, oil-resistant shoes and follow all safety policies
ability to report safety issues
compliance with Hazardous Material program
ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Receives and responds to inquiries regarding spa services and amenities
schedules spa, salon, and fitness appointments for guests and distributes workload to increase productivity
welcomes and escorts guests to waiting areas or lounges
assists guests with purchasing retail products
promotes additional treatments to increase profitability
monitors guest areas to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
opens and closes the facility according to spa policies and procedures
reconciles and balances daily sales at the close of shift
resolves guest complaints within scope of authority and notifies management of serious issues
assists with administrative tasks including payroll card completion and report preparation
