Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be flexible with work schedule including mandatory weekends
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background investigation
  • Must maintain all resort-wide educational and certification requirements
  • Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate loyalty to organization
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematics
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Must be able to bend, twist, pull, and push regularly
  • Must comply with safety procedures and maintain high standards of personal hygiene
  • Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with guests
  • Must be willing to work any days or hours as needed to meet business demands

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Six months of cash handling experience required
  • Six months of general spa or salon experience preferred
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a gaming license through POIGRA
  • Possession of American Red Cross CPR certification and health card
  • Must obtain and maintain New Mexico Alcohol Servers License
  • Moderate computer skills including Microsoft applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to display high levels of customer service and professionalism
  • Ability to make sound and accurate decisions
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in team settings

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and respond to all guest needs and requests in a professional manner
  • Schedule guests for spa and salon services using proper procedures
  • Inform guests of salon and spa services and promote cross-service recommendations
  • Close sales and encourage guests to pre-book services
  • Execute standard telephone procedures with professional etiquette
  • Confirm scheduled appointments with reminder calls
  • Inform service professionals of guest arrivals
  • Resolve guest challenges with support from management
  • Balance and check register drawer
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and stocking linens in spa and pool areas
  • Provide refreshments and attend to guests in relaxation areas
  • Uphold guest confidentiality and exhibit courtesy at all times
  • Assist laundry department with folding and stocking towels
  • Organize appointment scheduling to maximize time and profitability
  • Lock and secure spa doors at the end of the business day
  • Perform other duties as assigned
