Job Duties

  • Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software
  • Call guests to confirm scheduled services
  • Answer questions about available services
  • Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day
  • Inform providers of last-minute changes
  • Resolve scheduling issues by working with supervisor/manager
  • Check in guests for appointments and provide general spa orientation
  • Promote and sell spa/salon services
  • Obtain and secure assigned bank
  • Process guest payments and obtain payment authorization
  • Accept and log cash tips
  • Balance, scan, and drop receipts with Accounting
  • Notify Engineering of maintenance and repair needs
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Speak clearly and professionally
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Comply with quality assurance standards
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds
