Each spa is independently owned and operated by committed franchisees dedicated to maintaining the brand's high standards of service and excellence. This franchisee is looking to expand their team with a Spa Concierge on a part-time basis, offering competitive compensation at $17.16 per hour.
The role of a Spa Concierge at Woodhouse Spa is integral to delivering an unmatched guest experience. As the first and last point of contact, the Spa Concierge embodies the brand, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for from the moment they enter the spa to their departure. The Spa Concierge’s responsibilities extend beyond greeting guests to include supporting the day-to-day operations by assisting managers, therapists, and guests alike. This involves managing phone inquiries, scheduling appointments, guiding guests through the spa amenities, and processing payments. A critical aspect of the role involves partnering with therapists to enhance guest retention by encouraging return visits during check-out and driving retail sales through effective guest education on products and services. The Spa Concierge carefully attends to the small, personal touches that make visits memorable, such as remembering guest preferences, special occasions, and personalized amenities. Working within a fast-paced, two-story spa of approximately 6,500 square feet, the position demands consistent attendance, the ability to stand and be active for extended periods, and flexibility to work weekends, some holidays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and select Wednesdays. - previous customer service and telephone reservations experience
- basic accounting skills (for daily closing procedures)
Job Duties
- Is a steward of the Woodhouse brand
- serves as primary support for the spa's manager, therapists, and guests
- ensures that every guest has a friendly, inviting, and memorable experience, including a warm welcome and introduction to the changing lounge and amenities per the Woodhouse experience
- answers incoming calls and listens to our guests' needs to schedule appointments or provide service recommendations and collect payment for services
- partners with the therapists to increase their guest retention by scheduling the guest's next appointment during the check-out process
- drives service and retail sales/awareness by educating guests on products and services recommended by either the therapist or the concierge
- remembers the small details that make Woodhouse Spa special: guests' favorite drinks, a warm neck wrap, and/or personal information like birthdays and anniversaries
- must be able to work weekends and some holidays
- must comply with all company policies and procedures
