The role available is a full-time Spa Scheduler position within the vibrant spa department at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas Las Colinas. As a Spa Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling spa services for guests and large groups, utilizing advanced spa reservation software to manage appointments efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include confirming guest appointments, responding to inquiries about available spa treatments, and updating the reservation systems throughout the day to ensure smooth operations. You will also be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial recordings. Guest interaction is a fundamental component of this role; you will greet and assist guests upon arrival, guide them through spa facilities, promote spa products and services, and ensure their needs are met promptly and professionally.
The Spa Scheduler acts as a liaison between guests and spa providers, ensuring last-minute changes are communicated effectively and resolving scheduling conflicts with the support of supervisors or the spa manager. Maintaining the spa's appearance, following company policies regarding confidentiality and security, and adhering to uniform standards also fall within your purview. You will be expected to handle physical tasks such as standing for long periods and moving light objects. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to quality service, making you an integral part of a team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences at one of the world's leading luxury hotel brands.

Job Duties
- Schedule services for individuals and large groups using the spa reservation software
- call guests to confirm scheduled services
- respond to questions about available services
- update the reservation and cancellation lists throughout the day
- inform providers of last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues with supervisors or managers as needed
- register guests upon arrival, confirm their names, and provide general spa guidance
- promote and sell spa or salon services
- handle the assigned cash register and ensure money accuracy
- obtain necessary change for expected transaction levels
- keep the cash register secure at all times
- process guest payments for spa or salon services and obtain payment authorization as required
- accept and record cash tips for employees
- balance, scan, and deliver receipts to accounting
- notify engineering of maintenance and repair needs
- inform management of accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions
- comply with all company policies and procedures
- maintain a neat and professional appearance and uniform
- keep proprietary information confidential and protect company assets
