Our company operates a luxurious spa and fitness facility dedicated to providing guests and members with top-tier wellness experiences. The spa and fitness spaces include a variety of amenities such as the spa treatment rooms, locker rooms, fitness room, and pool area, each designed to deliver comfort and rejuvenation to our patrons.

As a Spa Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a pristine and welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will span maintaining cleanliness in the spa and fitness areas, managing inventory, assisting guests with orientations, and upholding safety and sustainability standards. This position offers an exciting pathway for career advancement, beginning at Spa Attendant, with opportunities to progress through Lead Spa Attendant, Spa Concierge, and Lead Spa Concierge roles.

This role requires a high level of dedication and commitment, as attendants are often the frontline representatives of our hospitality and service ethos. You will greet guests promptly, assist with their needs, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the duration of their visit. You will also be instrumental in supporting our Earth View sustainability program, participating in eco-friendly practices as part of our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Working as a Spa Attendant involves physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking, lifting, and other movements to maintain the facility's cleanliness and functionality. You will also need to adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with OSHA standards. Effective communication skills are essential, as you will frequently interact with guests and management to relay important information or address issues promptly.

The position typically involves a flexible work schedule that may include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or comparable work experience
  • Previous customer service experience or equivalent training
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of MSDS and OSHA safety standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Immediately greet guest and offer to assist with their needs
  • Maintains the cleanliness and order of the facility to include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, and removing waste
  • Restock all linens in locker rooms and appropriate guest areas
  • Escort members/guests to changing areas in a courteous and timely manner and provides guests with an orientation to the facility
  • Assist in conducting monthly inventory of spa operating and guests supplies as requested
  • Effectively communicate details regarding the facility and its amenities to members and guests
  • Communicate with management of any member, guest, or facility issues
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s Earth View program
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
