The Kitchen team at Ridglea Country Club plays a critical role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Currently, the club is seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Production Manager for the South Clubhouse A la Carte kitchen. This role is responsible for overseeing all food production activities on both hot and cold lines, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The Food Production Manager will be accountable for managing food costs, minimizing waste, and adhering strictly to standard operating procedures. This is a hands-on role requiring keen attention to detail, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The Food Production Manager will coordinate daily production schedules, communicate effectively with the South Course Food & Beverage Manager, and assist the kitchen team as needed. This position requires an individual who values teamwork, has a strong work ethic, and demonstrates professionalism in all interactions. The role also emphasizes food safety, sanitation, and proper hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized workstation while ensuring all food is prepared to the correct specifications and taste standards. Special responsibilities include managing walk-in cooler and freezer inventory with FIFO (First In, First Out) standards, as well as tastings to ensure quality control.
In addition to operational duties, the Food Production Manager will be involved in staff guidance, maintaining discipline and motivation within the kitchen team, and attending monthly kitchen meetings to stay aligned with club standards and goals. This role requires a flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays, and the ability to work overtime when needed. The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing personality, attention to detail, honesty, integrity, and the ability to treat others kindly and respectfully.
