We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced kitchen management professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to upholding and surpassing Anthony's outstanding reputation for fresh seafood prepared with an unwavering commitment to quality and value. This role requires a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment and possesses excellent communication and food production skills. The kitchen manager will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen and dish room operations during their shift, ensuring smooth functioning while maintaining cost efficiency. In this leadership position, they will supervise all kitchen team members, assign workstations, and ensure that all employees adhere to established procedures and high-quality standards. Additionally, the kitchen manager will play a critical role in training, cross-training, interviewing, and scheduling team members. When the Chef is absent, the kitchen manager may assume all of the Chef's responsibilities, demonstrating versatility and strong leadership. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • two or more years of experience in a high-volume, full-service dining kitchen required, preferably in a seafood restaurant
  • must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • must have excellent leadership, communication, and food production skills
  • must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to kitchen team members, dining room team and managers
  • must be able to speak, read and write in English
  • must be able to stand and move at a fast pace for up to four hours
  • must be able to lift pots, pans and other containers weighing up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the supervision and smooth operation of the kitchen and dish room during the shift with a mindful eye on the cost efficiency
  • responsible for all kitchen team members and ensure that they are performing their duties according to established procedures and quality standards
  • assigns stations to the kitchen team at the start of the shift
  • oversees training, cross-training, interviewing and scheduling of assigned positions
  • may assume all duties of the Chef in the Chef’s absence
