Job Description

Anthony's is a family-owned group of restaurants operating 26 locations across the Pacific Northwest, including Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. For over 50 years, Anthony's has built a reputation for showcasing the best of the region through fresh local seafood, in-season ingredients, and genuine hospitality. The company stands out due to its deep commitment to quality, reflected in a unique operational approach where it manages its own wholesale company. This allows Anthony's to source directly from local fishermen, ranchers, and trusted partners, ensuring that only the freshest, highest-quality food makes it to the kitchen daily. This dedication to excellence makes Anthony's not only a great place to dine but also an exceptional workplace.

Anthony's values its team members and invests in their growth through competitive pay, consistent scheduling, opportunities for internal advancement, and providing a supportive work environment conducive to skill development and career longevity. Whether you are new to the industry or an experienced professional seeking your next step, Anthony's welcomes individuals who are passionate about food, community, and hospitality. They look for team members eager to learn, who work hard and bring a warm, welcoming spirit.

The specific role Anthony's is offering is a kitchen management position focused on maintaining and exceeding the company's reputation for serving the finest fresh seafood with an uncompromising commitment to quality and value. Kitchen managers will oversee the smooth operation of the kitchen, including the supervision of staff and ensuring adherence to established procedures and quality standards. This role involves managing kitchen stations, overseeing training and scheduling, and may require stepping into the chef's duties in their absence. The ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership, communication, and food production skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. They must be fluent in English for clear communication with kitchen, dining room teams, and management.

The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Prospects for this role should have at least two years of experience in a high-volume, full-service dining kitchen, preferably in a seafood restaurant, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation involves overtime pay combined with an incentive percentage based on the operating profit of the restaurant, creating an opportunity for increased earnings. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees working an average of 25 hours per week or more, including medical insurance with an HSA account option, dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet insurance options for those maintaining 20 hours per week. Additional benefits include enrollment in the company's 401k plan with discretionary annual matching, vacation and sick time allotted annually, personal floating days for managers, scholarships, meal discounts, and employee assistance programs including wellness app access. Anthony's stands as an equal opportunity employer, committed to an inclusive environment for all staff members and looks forward to welcoming new team members.
