Job Description

Anthony's is a family-owned group of restaurants with 26 locations across the Pacific Northwest, including Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. For over 50 years, the company has built a solid reputation based on its commitment to showcasing the best of the region through fresh local seafood, in-season ingredients, and genuine hospitality. Anthony's operates with a unique approach to quality by owning its own wholesale company, enabling direct sourcing from local fishermen, ranchers, and trusted partners. This business model ensures that only the freshest and highest-quality food reaches the kitchens daily. With more than five decades of experience, Anthony's has established itself not only as a beloved dining destination but also as an employer that values its team members and fosters a supportive work environment.

Working at Anthony's means being a part of a passionate community that respects food, community, and hospitality. The company places a high priority on investing in its employees by providing competitive pay, consistent scheduling, ample opportunities for internal advancement, and a workplace culture that encourages skill development and long-term career growth. Whether candidates are beginning their careers in the hospitality industry or seeking to elevate their existing skills, Anthony's welcomes individuals who are eager to learn, work hard, and bring a warm, welcoming spirit to their roles.

This specific position is ideal for a passionate individual dedicated to upholding and exceeding Anthony’s standards for the finest fresh seafood, which is expertly served with an uncompromising commitment to quality and value. The role involves supervising and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and dish room during shifts, all while keeping a mindful eye on cost efficiency. The candidate will be responsible for the performance of the kitchen team, ensuring that all members comply with established procedures and maintain quality standards. They will assign stations, oversee training and scheduling, and may even assume all duties of the Chef in the Chef’s absence. The position requires someone with excellent leadership, communication, and food production skills who can work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Anthony's seeks someone who can stand and move quickly for extended periods and handle lifting heavy kitchen equipment, making physical stamina an important aspect of the job. Compensation includes overtime pay and an incentive percentage based on the restaurant’s operating profit. Full-time employees averaging 25 hours per week can enroll in medical insurance and an HSA account, while those working 20 hours are eligible for dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet insurance. The company offers a 401k plan with discretionary matching after 500 hours of employment, as well as vacation and sick leave, floating personal days, scholarships, meal discounts, and wellness assistance through the LifeWorks app. Anthony's is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment and looks forward to welcoming new team members who align with its values and dedication to excellence.
