The role available at Anthony's is for a seasoned Kitchen Manager who is passionate about maintaining and exceeding the restaurant's reputation for serving the finest fresh seafood. This position requires a commitment to quality, leadership, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen and dish room operations during their shift, ensuring a smooth workflow and strict adherence to cost efficiency. They will lead and manage all kitchen team members, assigning stations and providing ongoing support to ensure that all food production standards are met or exceeded. This role demands excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen team members, dining room staff, and management. The Kitchen Manager will also play an active role in training, cross-training, interviewing, and scheduling, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. The position offers competitive pay with overtime eligibility and an incentive percentage based on the restaurant’s operating profit, providing both financial reward and career growth opportunities. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of experience in a high-volume, full-service dining kitchen, preferably in a seafood restaurant
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
- Must have excellent leadership, communication, and food production skills
- Must be able to stand and move at a fast pace for up to four hours
- Must be able to lift pots, pans and other containers weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to kitchen team members, dining room team and managers
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English

Job Duties
- Responsible for the supervision and smooth operation of the kitchen and dish room during the shift with a mindful eye on cost efficiency
- Responsible for all kitchen team members and ensure that they are performing their duties according to established procedures and quality standards
- Assigns stations to the kitchen team at the start of the shift
- Oversees training, cross-training, interviewing and scheduling of assigned positions
- May assume all duties of the Chef in the Chef's absence
