Job Description

Anthony's is a distinguished family-owned group of restaurants with an impressive presence across the Pacific Northwest, operating 26 locations in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. For more than five decades, the company has built a reputation for excellence by championing the freshest local seafood and seasonal ingredients, all complemented by genuine hospitality. Their commitment to quality is evident in their unique business model, which includes operating their own wholesale company. This allows Anthony's to source directly from local fishermen, ranchers, and trusted partners, ensuring that only the freshest and highest-quality food reaches their kitchens daily. This dedication not only sets Anthony's apart as a premier dining destination but also creates a workplace culture rooted in passion, respect, and continuous improvement.

Anthony's seeks to welcome passionate individuals who share their enthusiasm for food, community, and hospitality. The company fosters a supportive environment, offering competitive pay, steady scheduling, opportunities for growth, and a collaborative atmosphere where team members can thrive and advance their careers. Whether you are embarking on your culinary journey or seeking to elevate your professional path in the hospitality industry, Anthony's values hard work, eagerness to learn, and a warm, approachable demeanor.

The role in focus is a kitchen management position that plays a pivotal role in maintaining Anthony's high standards for fresh seafood and overall dining experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen and dish room operations during shifts, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and the smooth functioning of all kitchen activities. This position demands excellent leadership and communication skills, the ability to manage and train staff effectively, and maintain food production standards consistent with Anthony's commitment to excellence.

In this role, you will take pride in developing and mentoring the kitchen team, assigning workstations, cross-training staff, handling interviews and scheduling, and stepping in for the chef when necessary. The position requires a hands-on approach, agility in a fast-paced environment, and the physical stamina to stand and move quickly for extended periods. You will also be entrusted with upholding strict food quality and safety standards, ensuring that every dish meets Anthony's signature benchmarks.

Anthony's offers competitive wages with overtime opportunities and an incentive percentage based on the restaurant's operating profits. Full-time employees averaging 25 hours weekly are eligible for medical insurance and Health Savings Account (HSA) enrollment, while those working 20 hours or more can choose dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet insurance options. The company provides a 401(k) plan with an annual discretionary match following 500 hours of employment, plus vacation and sick days that are front loaded and prorated according to the calendar year. Managers receive additional personal floating days each year. Beyond these benefits, Anthony's supports its employees through scholarships, meal discounts, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services via the LifeWorks Wellness App.

Anthony's is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where all team members feel valued and respected. If you are dedicated to culinary excellence and want to grow with a company that cares deeply about its people and its community, Anthony's invites you to apply and become part of their family.
