Job Description
Anthony's is a family-owned group of restaurants with 26 locations across the Pacific Northwest, including Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. For over 50 years, Anthony's has established itself as a leader in the regional dining scene, dedicated to showcasing the best local flavors through fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients, and genuine hospitality. The company operates its own wholesale business, allowing direct sourcing from local fishermen, ranchers, and trusted partners, which ensures only the highest quality food reaches their kitchens every day. Anthony's commitment to quality and sustainability has earned it a reputation as not only a premier dining destination but also as an exceptional employer in the hospitality industry. This focus on excellence creates an environment where guests enjoy an unparalleled culinary experience, while team members thrive in their professional growth and development.
Anthony's is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Manager to join their dedicated team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring that every dish meets Anthony's exceptionally high standards for quality and presentation. The Kitchen Manager supervises a team of kitchen staff and oversees all kitchen operations during their shift, with particular attention to cost efficiency and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include assigning workstations, monitoring food production, training and cross-training staff, conducting interviews, scheduling, and stepping in for the Chef as needed. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, outstanding communication skills, and experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment, preferably with seafood cuisine.
The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand and move quickly for several hours and lift heavy pots and containers up to 50 pounds. Compensation includes overtime pay and an incentive percentage linked to the restaurant's operating profit, assessed upon hire. Additionally, Anthony's offers comprehensive benefits packages designed to support the wellbeing and growth of its employees. Team members who work an average of 25 hours per week are eligible for medical insurance and a Health Savings Account (HSA), while those with at least 20 hours weekly may choose dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet insurance. All employees participate in the 401k plan with a discretionary company match after 500 hours of employment. Paid vacation and sick time are front-loaded annually, with additional personal floating days for managers. Other benefits include educational scholarships, meal discounts, and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) featuring the LifeWorks Wellness App. Anthony's is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and encourages individuals who share their passion for exceptional food and service to apply.
