We are currently offering a rewarding opportunity for a Food Service Supervisor role specifically focusing on both front and back of house operations at Valencia College in Orlando, FL. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, reflecting experience and night shift demand. The role is designed for a dynamic culinary leader with a mentoring management style who thrives in fast-paced, multi-outlet environments. As the Food Service Supervisor, you will oversee kitchen operations and supervise staff to ensure exceptional food quality and service aligns with Metz Culinary Management’s high standards. This includes menu implementation with a creative approach to presentation, while managing the day-to-day activities within college dining facilities.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring solid kitchen leadership experience and a strong background in contract dining food service settings such as schools, colleges, hospitals, corporate dining, or senior living environments. You will be expected to deliver support and guidance to culinary teams, foster a fun and creative workspace, and maintain impeccable communication and organizational skills. In this capacity, you will interface with multiple stakeholders to ensure operational success, employee development, and customer satisfaction. Through hands-on leadership and a passion for trending and diverse menus, the Food Service Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring Metz Culinary Management continues to set the industry standard for dining excellence.

This position offers flexible scheduling in a lively and engaging environment that values advancement opportunities. Interviews are conducted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Osceola Campus Cafe. Job Requirements

  • 3-5 plus years in a supervisory experience or sous chef
  • high volume background
