Job Requirements
- High school education or GED
- Vocational or post-secondary training in institutional food preparation desired
- Three to four years of experience in restaurant or institutional cooking as a head cook desired
- Ability to manage kitchen and dining operations
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Baking skills
- Ability to comply with state and federal health care laws and regulations

Job Duties
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of all meals while on duty
- Ensure proper service by managing kitchen and dining room functions
- Serve as Executive Chef in their absence
- Assist with ordering supplies, menu planning, and staff supervision
- Maintain kitchen equipment and manage inventory
- Control waste and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Foster a collaborative team environment in the kitchen
