Job Requirements

  • a.s. degree or equivalent experience
  • culinary or kitchen management experience
  • experience with catering and high volume operations
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to supervise kitchen staff
  • computer literacy including microsoft office and email
  • servsafe certification preferred
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Qualifications

  • a.s. degree or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience is a plus
  • experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • thorough knowledge of food trends and cost controls
  • proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet
  • servsafe certified is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • assist executive chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
  • assist executive chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervise hourly associates and ensure quality kitchen operations
  • maintain sanitation and safety standards
  • oversee food preparation and presentation
