Job Requirements

  • Culinary associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • two years of similar food and beverage, chef, and cooking experience required
  • willingness to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings required

Job Duties

  • Oversee product consistency and make necessary modifications according to business needs
  • multifaceted decision making in collaboration with the Chef and Department Executives including but not limited to proper ordering, guest assistance, and working with the front of the house
  • manage employee payroll, scheduling, training, and discipline
  • conduct training for Master cooks, cooks, pantry workers, helpers and kitchen workers on job responsibilities
  • assist Executive Room Chef by controlling food and labor costs, establish goals, and objectives that focus on profit, product and people
  • assist in overseeing kitchen-related activities pertaining to the normal operation of the restaurant, menu and staff
  • create, read, measure and execute recipes and new daily specials
