The Grand Hyatt Washington is currently seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join the opening team of Oribu restaurant. Job Requirements
- culinary education and/or on-the-job training with relevant kitchen experience
- experience working with sushi and sushi rolling techniques
- strong leadership skills with experience managing kitchen teams
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- proficiency in food safety and sanitation regulations
- effective communication and organizational skills
- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- capability to manage inventory and ordering processes
- knowledge of menu planning and food presentation
