Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or in a comparable kitchen leadership role
  • Culinary degree or relevant professional certification
  • Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage diverse kitchen teams
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic culinary environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for modern Asian cuisine and culinary creativity

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct food preparation activities in the kitchen
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Oversee quality control and presentation of dishes according to restaurant standards
  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Enforce health and safety regulations within the kitchen
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu development and culinary innovation
  • Quickly resolve kitchen issues and maintain smooth service flow
