TouchPoint is currently hiring a Senior Sous Chef to support the culinary operations within a large acute care, Level II trauma hospital that accommodates 541 beds and an average daily census of approximately 350 patients. This full-time position primarily operates Monday through Friday from 5am to 3pm, with rotating weekend shifts. The role comes with a substantial $2,500 sign-on bonus, acknowledging the value and critical responsibility held by the Senior Sous Chef.
In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing all culinary operations based at the hospital's food & nutrition department. This includes supervising patient dining services which involves bedside meal ordering, operating a 24-hour retail cafeteria, coordinating catering services, and ensuring that food quality and safety standards are upheld rigorously. You will also take a lead role in developing menus, planning, and executing catering events, and rolling out new culinary programs in alignment with company marketing and culinary strategies. This role is crucial for maintaining the hospital's reputation for high-quality food services and ensuring patient and client satisfaction through innovative and consistent culinary delivery. Candidates with experience in healthcare culinary settings, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in food safety and sanitation will find this position rewarding and challenging.
