Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years experience in the food service industry
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to work inside kitchen area and interact with heated equipment, chemicals, and steam
- Must have slip resistant shoes
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to use confidential information appropriately
- Must wear uniform and personal protective equipment as required
Job Qualifications
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- 2 to 5 years experience in the food service industry
- High school education or equivalent
- Interest in self-development and desire to learn
- Requires ability to work inside kitchen area, interact with heated equipment, chemicals, steam and other at-risk conditions
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Strong leadership and presentation skills
- Time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills

Job Duties
- Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a food service team and oversees the completion of tasks
- Responsible for opening and closing the building according to expectations of the management team
- Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, cooking methods, etc
- Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely utilizes a variety of utensils including knifes
- Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Ensure staff completes daily temperature logs
- Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
- Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co- workers, etc.
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensures security of company assets
- Flexible - nights, weekend, holidays and special events
