We are currently seeking a full-time Executive Sous Chef to join the culinary team at Ovation Sienna Hills. This exempt position works Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., offering an hourly pay range of $26 to $32. The Executive Sous Chef will play a pivotal role in managing the Culinary Department's daily operations, which include supervising food preparation, assisting with menu development, and maintaining high standards in food quality and presentation. Working closely with the Executive Chef, this position will oversee cost controls, food ordering, and the successful execution of catering events. The role calls for an energetic and entrepreneurial culinary professional capable of leading a team to deliver outstanding meals tailored to meet the needs and preferences of the senior living community.

Beyond daily kitchen management, the Executive Sous Chef will contribute to rolling out new culinary programs in collaboration with the company’s marketing and culinary teams. This includes staying current with food and catering trends, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring food cost controls are strictly followed. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising hourly culinary associates, helping to foster a positive and productive work environment. An emphasis is placed on continuously improving culinary services while supporting client satisfaction programs and activities.

Job Requirements

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience preferred
  • knowledge of foodservice operations and sanitation
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and email
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties
